The primary goal of Hospice is the palliation of symptoms in the terminally ill patient by the use of an interdisciplinary team and volunteers. Physical, psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual support are provided to the patient and family in the home, nursing home or hospital setting.

The primary service is visits from nurses, Home Health aides, Social Services, chaplains, and volunteers to indivicuals who have a terninal illness with a life expectancy of six months or less and their families. Bereavement services assist survivors in support. A nurse is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
